Position Overview:
- Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC) aims to expand participation in Jewish camp by reducing financial barriers and developing scalable models.
- The Director, Access & Affordability Initiatives serves as the operational leader, translating strategy into operational reality.
- This role oversees the implementation of major multi-year access and affordability initiatives while building the operational foundation for future growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and improve program models, participant experiences, eligibility frameworks, and funding approaches.
- Own program-related technology platforms, manage budgets, timelines, payments, compliance, and reporting.
- Build and maintain relationships with camps, funders, federations, consultants, and community partners to support successful program implementation.
Qualifications & Success:
- Requires 8–10+ years of relevant experience, including launching and scaling complex initiatives and managing significant budgets.
- Exceptional project management, systems-thinking, stakeholder management, and technology fluency are essential.
- Within 12–24 months, success includes launching a major affordability initiative, implementing a new technology platform, and building strong relationships across the field.
