Commercial Contracts
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of energy and commercial contracts, including battery storage, tolling, and power purchase agreements.
- Advise sales and partnership teams on legal risks and commercial structures, and mentor junior legal team members.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and market-specific issues across ISO/RTO markets.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree with strong academic credentials and 7-10+ years of relevant legal experience.
- Direct experience with BESS contracts and complex commercial agreements is required.
- Working knowledge of U.S. energy markets and regulatory frameworks.
Compensation & Culture:
- Base pay of $150K-$170K annually with 10-15% bonus and equity.
