Accounting Lead

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead targeted cross-functional initiatives to remediate control deficiencies and implement operational efficiencies.
• Develop project plans and communicate goals, updates, and business outcomes clearly.
• Act as point of contact between Operational close teams and partners in Product, Engineering, Financial Platforms, Financial Systems, and Technical Accounting.

Process Improvement:

• Proactively review current procedures and seek ways to improve processes for timely monthly close and accuracy.
• Develop deep expertise in existing accounting processes and recommend scalable solutions balancing effort, time, risk, and cost.
• Work with Record-to-Report team to translate problem areas into report requests with Financial Systems.

Qualifications and Culture:

• Solid understanding of US GAAP and ability to partner on accounting policy implementation.
• Advanced Excel skills and SQL experience preferred.
• Excellent project management skills and a passion for process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base pay range per year: $89,000 - $139,000 CAD.
• Total compensation includes monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, plus benefits like 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision.
