ROLE OVERVIEW:
- Reviews and produces linguistic content in German to ensure accuracy, quality, and cultural alignment for multimedia platforms.
- Acts as a cultural advisor, identifying potential issues and providing recommendations for the target audience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Localizes and translates content across various categories while adhering to style guides and performing quality checks.
- Creates original copies for products like music, TV, and apps, and conducts localization QA testing on live platform content.
- Manages data, transcribes content, and collaborates with global teams to align terminology and share market insights.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in translation, journalism, or copywriting with a media portfolio.
- Needs native-level German fluency, proven multimedia localization experience, and strong attention to detail.
- Must have broad knowledge of pop culture, ability to work independently remotely, and fluency in English.
