About the Role:
- Contribute to the development and evolution of scalable backend systems for digital commerce, payment processing, and fraud prevention.
- Take independent ownership of complex technical challenges from conception through production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build robust APIs and microservices with cross-team implications.
- Maintain production monitoring, alerts, and incident resolution to ensure reliability.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and promote engineering standards.
Requirements:
- At least four years of professional backend engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem.
- Experience with distributed systems, API design, and observability tools like Datadog or New Relic.
