Role Overview:
- Work closely with product and engineering teams to provide legal guidance on privacy and data security.
- Help navigate regulations for a fintech company with broad market impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel Product, Marketing, and business teams on legal and regulatory requirements.
- Anticipate risks and propose creative solutions with a business-focused mindset.
- Oversee data governance, mapping, and retention policies.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in product counsel role at law firm or in-house.
- Knowledge of consumer protection laws like RESPA, UDAAP, CCPA, GDPR, TCPA, GLBA.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Work Environment:
- Fully remote position; candidates must be based in the U.S.
