Classification & Onboarding Specialist

In this role, you'll make critical classification decisions for Upwork's clients and support the entire Upwork Payroll solution. You'll be the face of the Classification and Onboarding Solution, requiring independent judgment and discretion to ensure compliance with applicable laws. You will work with Enterprise Program Teams as a trusted operational partner, bringing together Upwork’s expertise and thought leadership to build these compliant solutions and to solve our clients' needs. Additionally, you will partner with the sales team to present the Classification & Upwork Payroll Solution to prospective clients and assist Solutions with the launch of new classification accounts. You'll lead with independent judgment to maintain seamless service and accuracy for IC engagements and excel at building internal and external relationships to scale programs compliantly with partners.
