Team Leadership:
- Manage the Item & Cost team, overseeing staff selection, performance management, goal setting, training, and development.
- Ensure all aspects of processing supplier’s data are correctly implemented to maintain overall profitability.
Cost Analysis:
- Plan, study, and collect data to determine costs of business activity and analyze actual manufacturing costs.
- Prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs and record cost information for expenditure control.
Reporting and Communication:
- Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
- Analyze data collected and record results to support decision-making and other duties as assigned.
