IT Automation Engineer - Business Technology (Central/Mountain Time - US)

Automation Development & Engineering:

• Design, build, and maintain automation scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Bash.
• Create automated workflows across user lifecycle, device provisioning, and identity lifecycle using Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf.
• Instrument automations with logging and alerting to measure hours saved and errors reduced.

Enterprise Systems Administration & Support:

• Administer and configure end-user and identity platforms such as Active Directory, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and Jamf.
• Support collaboration platforms like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
• Resolve end-user computing issues and document technical solutions aligned with IT and security standards.

Process Documentation & Continuous Improvement:

• Document automation workflows, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides for repeatability.
• Maintain the automation knowledge base to ensure solutions are supportable by others.
• Monitor deployed automations, resolve issues, and apply lessons learned to future builds.

AI-Enabled Productivity & Innovation:

• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude) as a starting point for configuration research, scripting, and troubleshooting.
• Validate AI-generated scripts in non-production environments before applying.
• Share effective AI-assisted approaches with teammates to improve automation quality.
