Job Description
The Sales Account Executive opportunity at BlueCat acts as a critical member of our Sales team. You connect existing customers, new logo(s) and our channel partners to make sure they are getting the most out of their experience with us. The role involves managing a strategic territory coverage and sales plan that encourages multi-angle access into new and existing accounts. It also requires hunting and sourcing pipeline, achieving revenue goals consistently on a quarterly and annual basis, and building and growing an ongoing pipeline of existing accounts.
Responsibilities include meeting and exceeding established monthly and quarterly revenue objectives, planning and managing both account and deal strategy, and identifying, qualifying, orchestrating, and closing new business within existing accounts. The role also involves developing a detailed understanding of organizational structure, competitive landscape, and technology heat map within entire account list, articulating the BlueCat value proposition to senior IT leaders, and working within a team environment to manage internal and external resources to execute account and deal strategy and maximize sales efforts and success rate.
