About the Role:
- As a founding team member in Australia, you will shape Whatnot’s regional presence alongside the GM.
- You will launch and own a category, determine next categories, and build the seller community from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with influencers and execute activations to bring audiences onto the platform.
- Develop a pipeline of sellers including resellers and shops, and advise them on growth strategies.
- Leverage data to drive category growth and provide user insights to the product team.
What We're Looking For:
- 4+ years in a fast-paced client-facing role like consulting, PE, or partnerships at a tech company.
- Experience in business development, pipeline execution, and strategic thinking with data.
- Passion for creator communities and familiarity with Whatnot categories like vintage clothing or collectibles.
