Development Manager

Communications & Content:

• Draft compelling proposals and donor communications that move our mission forward.
• Develop grant proposals and funding concepts for diverse audiences.
• Support the Chief External Affairs Officer with written content for board and donor audiences.

Development Operations & Project Management:

• Manage grant operations, including timelines, project coordination, and reporting deadlines.
• Own moves management logistics and coordinate the development calendar using Asana.
• Conduct prospect research to identify and profile potential donors.

Donor Database & Reporting:

• Maintain Salesforce database with accurate donor data, engagement tracking, and pipeline accuracy.
• Generate reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking to monitor team performance.
• Manage gift acknowledgement workflow including thank-you letters and tax receipts.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Coordinate development committee meetings, including agendas and follow-up tasks.
• Research and support strategy for conferences and events relevant to development goals.
