Overview:
- You will own the systems and integrations behind the employee lifecycle, building them as infrastructure-as-code with SRE practices.
- You'll be the technical owner of GitLab's ITSM platform and the AI capabilities layered on top of it.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and own end-to-end automation for onboarding, transfers, role changes, and offboarding.
- Increase AI deflection rates by deploying and tuning virtual agents, AI search, and agentic resolution.
- Manage IT-owned infrastructure as code across cloud environments, shipping changes through version control and automated deployment.
Requirements:
- Breadth as a generalist systems engineer with solid infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform).
- A working command of SRE principles including observability, monitoring, and reliability targets.
- Experience automating employee lifecycle processes across HRIS, identity, and endpoint management systems.
