Senior Korean Linguist

The Senior Korean Linguist is responsible for ensuring high-quality Korean-language deliverables. This involves managing translation and copy-editing tasks, as well as coordinating with freelancers and agencies. The linguist will maintain key language resources, handle terminology and style queries, and collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve workflows. They will also support overall quality efforts through editing and error arbitration. Responsibilities include performing copy-edit and on-demand translation tasks, lead linguist duties, and ownership of deliveries translated internally or by external partners. Further tasks include preparing and maintaining language materials, managing project-related queries, and ensuring good interaction among team members. The linguist will test and qualify new freelancers and vendors, develop and train internal linguists, and interact with clients on linguistic matters. Participation in the development of new and improved working processes is also expected, along with meeting key performance metrics related to productivity, on-time delivery, and quality.
