Global Settlements Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage settlement exceptions, trade discrepancies, and failing transactions, coordinating remediation with counterparties and custodians.
• Perform daily reconciliations of positions and cash across multiple markets, producing reports and resolving breaks.

Operational Risk & Compliance:

• Ensure processes comply with SEC, FINRA, and global regulations, supporting Rule 15c3-3 and audit examinations.
• Maintain operational records and assist with regulatory reviews.

Automation & Collaboration:

• Partner with Engineering to automate workflows and improve settlement processes using SQL, Metabase, and AI tools.
• Work cross-functionally with Trading, Finance, Compliance, and Customer Operations to ensure seamless post-trade processing.

Who You Are:

• 2+ years of brokerage operations experience, strong knowledge of global settlement lifecycles, and familiarity with BNY Nexen, SWIFT, and DTCC.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
