Responsibilities:

  • Monitor denial volumes and aging, adjust work assignments, and identify trends to communicate with stakeholders.
  • Research, develop, and implement automations to streamline workflows within the Coding Quality Department.
  • Support annual and long-term strategy planning and execute operational plans to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Coding, HIM, or healthcare preferred.
  • 5+ years progressive experience in coding, auditing, or coding quality, plus supervisory and project management experience.
  • One of the following certifications required: CCS, CCS-P, COC/CPC, CIC, or CPC-H.
