Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound and outbound patient calls professionally.
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Care Coordination or related role.
- Experience with Illinois-based healthcare practices and insurance plans.
- Must have SimplePractice EHR experience and a HIPAA compliance certificate.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, PPO, HMO, and commercial insurance plans.
- Experience with referrals and prior authorizations.
- Familiarity with urgent care or multi-specialty practices.
