Job Description
Joining Komodo as an Area Vice President, Government Direct Sales, you will be an individual contributor focused on new business acquisition within the Federal, State, and Local (FSL) government market. Your core mission is to rapidly sell and expand our presence in the public sector by owning and managing a portfolio of key Federal and State agency accounts and driving complex, direct contract awards. This segment plays a critical role in securing direct revenue streams and accelerating the deployment of our platform to support public health and government payer initiatives.
You will drive daily sales motion by actively engaging in direct prospecting, cold calling, and consultative sales outreach to expand the customer base within assigned FSL accounts. Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies and capture plans to identify and secure sole-source or competitive direct contract opportunities within target FSL agencies. You will lead the full proposal lifecycle (RFPs, RFIs, Task Orders) , ensuring the submission of high-quality, technically compliant, and compelling bids.
