Key Responsibilities:
- Review third-party contracts and identify legal, financial, and operational risks.
- Lead subcontract negotiations and ensure proper flow-down of prime contract obligations.
- Provide day-to-day legal support on corporate governance, compliance, and dispute strategy.
What You Bring:
- Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school and active license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5-10+ years of legal experience in commercial and government contracting, construction, or energy.
- Exceptional written communication and ability to synthesize complex risk into clear recommendations.
Location & Travel:
- This role is largely remote with periodic travel to Arlington, VA or Denver, CO as needed.
- Must be able to register as Virginia Corporate Counsel.
- Travel to support critical negotiations.
