Role overview:
- Serve as the connective tissue between Medicare claims policy, data, and engineering teams.
- Own and maintain HIPAA-compliant artifacts that define claims processing rules.
- Communicate changes clearly to internal teams and external CMS stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Validate and review proposed updates to spreadsheets for accuracy and alignment with CMS policy.
- Partner with Product Manager and Engineering leadership to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
- Facilitate information flow across functions to reduce ambiguity and keep everyone aligned.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in CMS Medicare claims processing (Part A and Part B).
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner on a federal program or regulated healthcare environment.
- Strong command of Excel for managing complex data and change tracking.
