Facility-Fee Emergency Department Medical Coder

Job Description:

• You will review emergency department medical records to assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• You will ensure compliance with coding guidelines, CMS regulations, and payer-specific requirements.
• You will collaborate with coding leadership and participate in quality reviews and audits.

Qualifications:

• You must have at least 2+ years of facility-fee outpatient coding experience in Emergency Department services.
• You need an active AAPC or AHIMA coding certification and Epic experience is strongly preferred.
• Injection and infusion experience is required, and other medical coding experience is a plus.
