The Role:

• Pano is seeking an Associate General Counsel to serve as primary legal partner to Product, Engineering, and business teams.
• The role involves leading privacy, AI governance, and compliance programs while enabling responsible innovation.
• Reporting to the Chief Legal & Operations Officer, this position collaborates closely with leaders across the company.

What you’ll do:

• Provide practical legal guidance from development through launch, identifying risks and developing solutions.
• Lead cross-functional risk assessments and contribute to security certifications and compliance frameworks.
• Translate complex legal issues into clear, business-oriented advice for quick, confident decision-making.

What you’ll bring:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and 6+ years of relevant legal experience, including product counseling.
• Strong judgment and creativity around risk assessment, with ability to balance legal needs and product agility.
• High integrity, ambition, humility, and a genuine passion for mission-driven climate technology.
