Role Overview:
- Define and own Alpaca's market data strategy as both a platform capability and a revenue-generating product line.
- Balance strategy and delivery, deciding what data to source, how to package and price it, and what to build versus buy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate exchange licensing, redistribution rights, and entitlements with vendors and global venues.
- Assess build-vs-buy for data infrastructure and build the commercial model including pricing and packaging.
- Own the developer experience for market data APIs including REST, WebSocket/SSE, and historical endpoints.
