Senior Systems Administrator

As part of the Production Engineering team, the Senior Systems Administrator administers and maintains customer-facing SaaS infrastructure including services running in both public cloud and datacentre environments. You will provide support, troubleshooting, and management expertise for our growing application platforms while working closely with developers, DBAs, and other internal teams to ensure that the system is stable, secure and scaling to meet demand. You will work on platform migrations, recommend and implement upgrades, improve our current processes, and introduce new technology. You have administered Windows Server in the datacentre or cloud, been responsible for SaaS applications, and are familiar with a variety of compute and infrastructure services including AWS, Azure, IIS, SFTP, SMTP, VMware, load balancers, firewalls, database servers, and related technologies. With an automation mindset, you default to building automated processes to replace repetitive manual work and ensure predictable, repeatable outcomes. You’ve worked primarily with Windows Server but may have some experience with Linux too. You will help ensure the smooth operation of our production environments, contribute to our continuing improvement, and assist in architecting our platforms. You possess excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
