Contract Writing System Functional Service Desk Agent - Clearance Required

Responsibilities:

• Provide subject matter expertise in federal acquisition and contracting to investigate, diagnose, and resolve functional incidents and service requests.
• Perform ticket triage within the Army Enterprise Service Management Platform (AESMP/ServiceNow) and manage all assigned tickets to meet Service Level Objective targets.
• Communicate directly with end users with empathy and transparency, ensuring users receive regular status updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Federal government contracting or 9+ years of work experience in a related field.
• DAWIA, DAU, NCMA, FAC, or other relevant certification in contracting; deep understanding of DoD contracting lifecycle, FAR, and DFARS.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required; ITIL Foundation certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Work Environment:

• Fully remote role supporting the Army Contract Writing System for the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement).
• Collaborates with Tier 3 System Integrator and Agile Release Train; participates in change and defect management processes.
• Continuous evaluation of communication skills and support of sustainment of ITIL service model framework.

Additional Information:

• Desired qualifications include 5+ years of warranted contracting officer experience and prior experience as an Organizational Administrator of ACWS or similar system.
• Target salary range: $90,144 - $140,591 per year; individual salaries vary based on factors including location, experience, and security clearances.
