Position Summary:

  • You lead the response to high-severity property claims after catastrophes, coordinating resources across multiple functions.
  • You set the direction for complex claim handling, guide high-severity claim decisions, and ensure clear communication with policyholders.
  • This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role that requires calm under pressure and a commitment to customer care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain catastrophe-response protocols, improve readiness, and strengthen organizational capacity for Mega CAT scenarios.
  • Use digital tools, operational dashboards, and analytics to improve decision-making and response coordination.
  • Manage a geographically dispersed team, handle surge operations, and travel to affected areas during active events.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in complex claims handling and catastrophe response, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays during events, and travel rapidly to affected areas.
  • Proficiency in using technology and data to drive improvements and adapt to changing conditions.
