Director, People Experience

Develop and lead the implementation of people experience strategies that align with organizational objectives and foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture across all regions. Act as a culture steward, embodying and championing Porch’s core company values in every aspect of your work. Serve as a strategic business partner to executive leadership, providing expert guidance on organizational design, talent management, change initiatives, and workforce planning. Lead and manage the HR Business Partner team, ensuring effective people management practices, clear goal setting, impactful coaching, and professional development. Oversee key people programs, including employee engagement surveys, performance management cycles, and the Great Place to Work survey, leveraging insights to enhance the employee experience. Drive initiatives that boost employee engagement, development, and retention, including feedback programs and career growth opportunities. Analyze people data and organizational metrics to assess trends, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend evidence-based solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure people programs are aligned with business priorities and support the integration of culture across distributed teams. Champion inclusion and belonging initiatives to cultivate an environment where all employees feel valued and empowered. Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters, promoting fair, consistent practices in line with company values and policies, as well as alignment with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Serve in a player-coach capacity, directly supporting a designated client group while mentoring the broader HRBP team. Stay informed on best practices, regulatory changes, and industry trends to proactively recommend enhancements to people experience programs and policies.
