The M&A Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for providing general administration and operational support of the tactical HR tasks for the mergers and acquisitions area of the human resources team. The successful candidate will play an integral role in maintaining and integrating confidential employee records, processing time-sensitive documents, and assisting with the smooth onboarding process of acquired employees through the transition of newly acquired firms.
Essential functions include facilitating onboarding tasks, drafting employment documents, creating employee profiles in the HR system, managing I-9 and E-Verify completion, coordinating background checks, and guiding new employees through electronic onboarding. Uploading executed agreements, maintaining spreadsheet data, auditing compliance, and ensuring a smooth transition through new employee orientation are also key. Additionally, the role involves managing personnel files, building relationships with internal departments, and providing an exceptional acquisition experience, with regular status updates to the M&A HR Program Manager.
