Manage projects that improve processes and reporting for the Accounting function including enablement of automated journal entries from subledger to general ledger and data enablement for account reconciliations. Represent the accounting team in product development conversations and perform complex analysis on financial data from Affirm’s proprietary systems for financial reporting. Lead the development of robust system documentation and support financial and internal controls and audits.

Performs complex routine and non-routine accounting work including compilation, consolidation, or analysis of financial statements to support management decision making. This position conducts analysis on the new rules or requirements and identifies the effects on accounting policies, practices and procedures as new regulatory requirements or organizational issues arise.
