Apply ASC 606 and company revenue recognition policies, review revenue contracts, evaluate accounting treatment for non-standard revenue transactions, analyze complex revenue accounting issues, and maintain revenue recognition policies. You will prepare journal entries, revenue reconciliations, and work with external auditors to ensure compliance.

As the Billing Specialist at Vanta, you will own the customer billing lifecycle ensuring operational excellence in accuracy of customer invoicing, cash receipts and provide excellent customer service to external and internal customers. You will be responsible for timely correspondences with our external and internal customers. The Billing Specialist I is prioritizing tasks and using critical thinking to complete work.

In this role, you'll own activities in accordance with the monthly close timeline and adherence to USGAAP, primarily in the area of revenue accounting, the full order-to-cash process, GL entries and account reconciliations, and will work cross functionally with several department leads and team members.
