Build, refine, and own complex financial models that support forecasting, scenario planning, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making across the company. Partner closely with GTM, R&D, People, and Finance leadership to translate business strategies into actionable financial insights and operational recommendations. Conduct deep-dive analyses into revenue performance, unit economics, cohort behavior, pipeline trends, and cost structures to surface meaningful drivers and levers.

• Own end-to-end mapping of finance-related processes.
• Analyze the impact of each workflow on financial reporting.
• Identify inefficiencies, risks, and inconsistencies; provide data-backed recommendations.

As a Senior Financial Analyst on GitLab’s Strategic Finance team, you’ll shape how we understand growth, allocate investment, and communicate performance to our executives and Board. You’ll build and refine long range bookings and ARR models, design new forecasting methodologies, and structure complex data across sales, product, marketing, and revenue operations to turn signals into clear, actionable insights.
