As a Senior Data Scientist, you will have end-to-end ownership of custom models, algorithms, and other data products that feed directly into TRM’s UX. In collaboration with a team of engineers, data scientists, and research scientists, your goal will be to uncover valuable and defensible information that can detect, prevent, and mitigate cryptocurrency fraud and financial crime. The models and algorithms you create will identify new threat vectors unique to cryptocurrencies and blockchains.

As a Senior Data Engineer on the Data Platform team, you will be responsible for executing mission-critical systems and data services that analyze blockchain transaction activity at petabyte scale, and ultimately work to build a safer financial system for billions of people. You will build highly reliable data services to integrate with dozens of blockchains, develop complex ETL pipelines that transform and process petabytes of structured and unstructured data in real-time, and design and architect intricate data models.

You will play a central role in transforming TRM’s intelligence into compelling, defensible narratives. Your work won’t stop at research, you will actively discover new intelligence, validate and extend TRM’s attribution, and communicate findings back into our attribution pipelines and products.

You will play a critical role in scaling TRM’s business functions by leading full-cycle recruiting across Finance, Legal, People, Operations, and other G&A teams. You’ll partner directly with executives and hiring managers to define talent needs, craft best-in-class candidate experiences, and deliver exceptional hires during a pivotal phase of growth.

TRM’s Blockchain Infrastructure team is responsible for monitoring the flows of data on blockchain networks. We are looking for a Staff Engineer with deep expertise in network protocol design and implementation, as well as strong foundations in systems engineering and distributed systems. You will lead projects from research and ideation through protocol feasibility and production, with a focus on network or blockchain runtimes.
