As a Principal Software Engineer, you will lead engineering efforts for Pulumi Copilot and Pulumi AI, integrating modern generative AI capabilities into the Pulumi Cloud to improve the developer experience; design, code, and lead development of AI-powered features; build agentic workflows and intelligent assistants.

In close collaboration with other computer vision team members, this role will involve a healthy mix of classical 3D computer vision and modern deep learning engineering, focused around 3D scanning, 3D reconstruction, SLAM, and scene understanding domains. In this role, you'll be writing production code with focus on quality and value for customers, at the forefront of state-of-the-art computer vision.

To train Gen AI models, you will craft and answer questions related to computer science in order to help train AI models, and evaluate and rank code generated by AI models. There is no requirement for previous AI experience.

Provide technical leadership and direction for multiple agile teams or projects to implement prioritized software product roadmaps. Design, develop, and maintain complex software systems, along with mentoring junior engineers. Write high-quality code for complex scenarios with good test coverage and translate product requirements into robust designs.
