Lead development of AI-powered product features built on large language models (LLMs). This is not a machine learning research role — it’s a hands-on engineering position focused on building production-grade applications powered by LLMs via services like AWS Bedrock, designing and implementing new capabilities from the ground up for HR tech.

Develop applications for statistical data capture, analysis, mapping, visualization, and decision support predominantly using Django. Design and build Django Models and API endpoints, along with custom Django Admin screens. Participate in project management using Jira and Agile principles, maintain technical specifications, and conduct independent research to solve new problems. Provide mentorship and guidance to other programmers.

This position demands a high level of leadership, mentoring other engineers and helping to design and architect scalable solutions. You will face challenges in building scalable systems and designing new product features, collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers. Contribute to open-source projects and always be learning about our customers and product to build better software.

Collaborate with product and design teams to build high-value features, drive the evolution of our architecture and system, and ensure the availability, scalability, and efficiency of our services. Work on impactful projects with high volumes of production traffic. Produce simple, maintainable code while always looking to improve it.
