Role Overview:
- Provide expert legal advice and support to clients in the energy sector.
- Collaborate with leading Oil & Gas clients to shape legal strategies and drive business success.
Responsibilities:
- Advise on regulatory compliance matters related to oil and gas exploration, production, and transportation.
- Draft and negotiate a variety of oil and gas agreements, including leases, JOAs, and pipeline contracts.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local government laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Active bar license in the state of residence.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in oil and gas law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state laws governing the oil and gas industry.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience advising on upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas transactions and projects.
- Experience with FERC regulatory matters and energy data centre projects.
