New Technical Talent Acquisition Partner

About the Role:

• Defcon AI is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner to play a critical role in our next phase of growth.
• This position is for a builder who thrives on high-impact technical recruiting and scaling People Operations processes.
• Reporting to the Head of HR, you will own talent acquisition and onboarding, freeing leadership to focus on broader People strategy.

What You'll Do:

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical roles including Senior Software Engineers, DevSecOps, AI/ML, and Data Engineers, as well as non-technical roles.
• Drive DoD and cleared talent strategy with deep fluency in security clearance requirements and the defense talent landscape.
• Partner with hiring managers and Head of HR to scope roles, align on profiles, and optimize candidate experience.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years of technical recruiting experience in high-growth startups, government contractors, or fast-paced tech environments.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting for DoD programs and government contracts, including security clearance processes.
• Proven ability to manage the entire talent funnel and a strong interest in People Operations.
