About the role:
- Own payments end to end across all Stash surfaces including authorization optimization, multiprocessor routing, retry logic, and fraud tradeoffs.
- Be the first dedicated Payments PM, building structure from scratch and making final payments decisions.
What you'll do:
- Act as the translation layer between payments operations, compliance, and engineering to prioritize requirements.
- Define and own key KPIs like authorization/approval rate and payment success rate.
- Build business cases for multiprocessor routing and retry logic improvements.
What we're looking for:
- High agency and ownership, comfortable being the first Payments PM.
- Tight project management execution with a disciplined roadmap.
- Payments domain expertise with knowledge of multiprocessor routing and transaction failures.
