Lead Product Manager, Safety

About the Role:

• Lead a cross-functional product team of engineers, designers, data scientists, and others to drive safety and security strategy.
• Work directly with trusted community groups and individuals to understand and respond to real-world challenges.
• Be at the center of a pivotal time for Wikipedia as AI changes knowledge access and presents new risks and opportunities.

Your Responsibilities:

• Identify the right problems to solve and guide work to have the highest impact.
• Lead development of products and features that make it hard and expensive for bad actors to undermine user security and privacy.
• Drive product planning and prioritization with data and community feedback, maintaining candid relationships.

Skills and Experience:

• At least 5 years of product development experience, including agile and consumer-facing software.
• Comfort working proactively with data to drive measurable solutions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of management, staff, and communities.
