The Role:
- We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our Public Sector, Defence and Defence Industrial Base team as a trusted technical pre-sales partner.
- You will help government and defence customers solve mission critical challenges with our storage and data platform solutions, and enable channel partner SEs.
What You'll Do:
- Partner with Account Executives on opportunities, from discovery through technical validation and close.
- Act as a senior technical lead, providing mentorship and technical direction to less experienced colleagues.
- Translate customer requirements into technical architectures, proposals, and solution concepts.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of experience in pre-sales, systems engineering, or solution architecture.
- Strong storage fundamentals and familiarity with block, file, and object storage, virtualisation, and VMware.
- Knowledge of UK government and defence procurement frameworks such as G-Cloud and Crown Commercial Service.
