Medication Access Coordinator

Job Summary:

• Responsible for performing medication-related tasks in support of department operations.
• Ensures smooth management of patient medication needs within scope of practice.

Essential Functions:

• Supports the clinic by assisting with patient medication management.
• Receives, reviews, and facilitates requests for medication renewal.
• Completes prior authorization paperwork and monitors progress.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Successful completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• One year medical setting experience required; Epic experience preferred.
