Role Summary:

  • Lead vendor strategy across the publishing lifecycle to ensure quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
  • Manage procurement, contracting, and onboarding processes for external partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee vendor use in end-to-end workflows, promote cross-functional collaboration, and limit risk through supplier diversity.
  • Manage contract renewals, RFPs, and capacity planning with internal stakeholders.
  • Establish KPIs, SLAs, and auditing frameworks, and maintain a culture of excellence in vendor relationships.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in vendor procurement, relationship management, and publishing workflow knowledge.
  • Proficiency in manuscript tracking systems, production platforms, and data reporting tools.
  • Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and documentation skills.
