System Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage deployment and upkeep of internal network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless equipment.
• Install, configure, and maintain internal servers and services.
• Implement infrastructure changes and improvements.
• Plan and execute regular infrastructure maintenance to ensure system health and uptime.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues within the infrastructure at both hardware and software levels.

Qualifications:

• Proven, relevant experience in a similar or closely related role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, routing and switching, at a level equivalent to CCNA certification.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco hardware and Remote Access VPN solutions (Cisco ASA or Firepower).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Programming skills in Go or Python.
• Proficiency in Linux systems administration.
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Puppet, Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).
