Director, Servicing & Collections

Portfolio & Strategy Leadership:

• Accountable for the performance of the loan portfolio across the full servicing lifecycle, with a focus on portfolio outcomes and cost efficiency.
• Own strategy development and execution oversight across primary servicing, early and late-stage collections, and default recoveries.

Vendor & Operational Management:

• Lead vendor strategy and governance, holding third-party servicers accountable to aggressive performance targets.
• Develop comprehensive monitoring programs for oversight of process and vendor performance and manage related expenses.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Performance:

• Partner with analytics to translate data into actionable strategies and independently challenge assumptions to drive strategy refinement.
• Prepare and deliver portfolio performance reviews, articulating drivers of trends and improvement strategies, and collaborate with Capital Markets, legal, and compliance teams.

Team Supervision:

• Supervise employees managing specialized vendors and processes within servicing and collections.
• Maintain a top-performing team through development, coaching, and counseling of existing personnel or recruiting new staff as needed.
