- Analyze and present proposals for benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, disability, group life.
- Advise clients on benefits package design and employee contribution strategy.
- Lead client renewal presentations, translating complex financial concepts into clear guidance.
Benefits Analysis and Underwriting:
- Own renewal analysis: budget projections, rate development, contribution analysis, plan-change modeling.
- Benchmark plan designs and costs against market data.
- For level-funded and self-funded arrangements, develop claim projections and IBNR reserve estimates.
RFP and Carrier Marketing:
- Build and run RFPs to insurance carriers, soliciting renewal and alternative quotes.
- Review and validate quotes, assemble annual renewal proposal.
- Manage relationships with carrier and GA partners to ensure competitive options.
