The Role:
- Lead HR operations across the USA, Mexico, and Canada, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and internal policies.
- Oversee I-9 verification, onboarding compliance, and employee documentation.
- Manage benefits administration, HSA reporting, and COBRA processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle payroll oversight, statutory reporting (e.g., W-2s, Form 941), and reconciliation in partnership with Finance.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance, and conduct matters.
- Coordinate workers' compensation claims, FICA adjustments, and breach resolutions.
What We're Looking For:
- A seasoned HR professional with experience across multi-state HR operations in the U.S.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and compliance; exposure to Mexico and Canada is desirable.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, or CIPD) is strongly preferred.
