IT Engineer

About the Role:

• This is an engineering role with a support component, focusing on building and owning systems like identity, endpoints, and governance.
• You’ll work across Okta, Workspace ONE, Google Workspace, and Slack, partnering with Security, Engineering, People, and Finance.

What You'll Own:

• Identity and access engineering in Okta, including group strategy, app assignments, SSO, and lifecycle automation.
• Endpoint engineering across a macOS-first fleet with Workspace ONE, including provisioning, patching, encryption, and inventory.

Automation and Governance:

• Bring the SaaS estate under real governance, managing who owns each tool, has access, and what happens when people change teams.
• Build automation that reduces manual work, such as onboarding, deprovisioning, and compliance reporting.

Who You Are:

• You have 4+ years in IT engineering, with hands-on Okta and MDM experience, and you’re an excellent writer who can document decisions clearly.
• You want to stay hands-on as an individual contributor, building systems that reduce future work rather than managing a team.
