Regional Non-Ferrous Editor, Americas

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold price integrity by championing Fastmarkets' IOSCO-compliant approach and ensuring team adherence to all pricing and methodology processes.
• Build trust in prices by driving LEAP strategy and coaching team on continual content improvements.
• Lead market engagement via meetings and events, sharing insights to drive price adoption and uncover opportunities.

Managerial Duties:

• Manage team responsibilities and diary for solid backup during leaves or travel, balancing strategic oversight with occasional coverage.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to break down silos and enrich pricing and content.
• Support staff development and retention, promoting Fastmarkets' MAGICC values and cross-commodity moves.

Qualifications:

• Strong background in pricing markets and journalism, ideally with metals markets knowledge and experience in high-pressure benchmarks.
• Demonstrable leadership skills with ability to plan, motivate, delegate, and achieve results through others.
• Experience in recruiting, training, mentoring, market engagement, and budget management.
