Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in the sales process and work closely with the direct and channel sales teams
- Discover and understand customers desired business outcomes and align our solutions to those outcomes
- Provide product demonstrations to prospective customers
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in customer facing position, professional experience as a pre-sales technical resource in an enterprise software company desirable
- Hands on experience as a DBA with Oracle is mandatory with additional SQL Server experience highly desirable
- Experience with Azure, AWS or similar cloud database offerings desirable
Preferences:
- Quest solutions are Microsoft centric therefore familiarity with .Net, VB, Active Directory, LDAP
- Experience in database performance tuning, monitoring with the use of specialised 3 rd party tools such as Foglight, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Solarwinds, APM solutions
- Experience with database replication technologies such as SharePlex, Oracle Golden Gate, HVR, Qlik
