In this broad role you will be responsible for the following tasks: Daily administrative activities as processing of bankstatements, purchase invoices and sales invoices; Prepare Payments; Credit Collection; Prepare Monthly VAT declarations; Prepare Monthly Closing and Reporting to Head Office Duynie; Prepare the Balance Sheet File for the annual review Auditor; First contact for the Auditor.

Responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and payroll accounting for EMEA. Will oversee the monthly accounting close and financial reporting cycles and manage the external audit processes and annual filings. Will oversee the timely filings of all tax, statutory, and associated local filings, build excellent working relationships with the rest of the Accounting organisation across EMEA, AMER, and APJ.

The International Payroll and Compliance Specialist is responsible for providing timely payroll administration to the Geotab group of companies, ensuring employment standard compliance and managing employees’ queries regarding all aspects of payroll. Prepare, validate and process payroll in accordance with payroll schedule. Review payroll period changes and ensure that all supporting data are in place. Process pay period adjustments and manual payments when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in revenue and will be required perform a variety of tasks as part of the Month-end close process, playing a critical role in stabilizing the function while supporting the global consolidation and financial reporting process.

Process purchase invoices, employee cost- and travel reports, and input them into financial systems. Control and archive accounting documents. Prepare payment orders in the banking and accounting system. Insert payments received and bank transactions in accounting program. Answer daily accounting-related queries, process purchase and sales transactions and compile ad hoc reports.
