In this role, you’ll be part of our CPG S&O team, supporting our growing sales team to help CPGs measure performance and manage content of their respective brand portfolios. In this role you will serve as “subject matter expert” on the DoorDash unified product library and downstream reporting data, enabling CPGs to successfully grow their brands and manage their presence across DoorDash’s platform.

The candidate will support the development and execution of new programs in support of an ARPA-H Program Manager. Applicants will be required to work closely with the PM as well as other technical support staff with expertise in a variety of technologies and disciplines. The position will be fully remote.

The Data Scientist will independently develop and lead projects focused on information extraction from documents, working within the Product Impact group to build a key database of environmental product declarations and product category rules, designing and maintaining algorithms and models for information extraction ensuring the integrity of extracted data.

You will become a core contributor with machine learning expertise on the credit risk team and deliver results that directly impact our business. Build industry-leading machine learning models for managing credit and fraud risks. Leverage multiple complex data sources such as credit bureau reports to optimize decisions.

Help build out a suite of end-to-end modeling pipelines to produce high-quality estimates of message effectiveness. Improve pipeline reliability, data quality checks, and model diagnostics to increase confidence in our modeling outputs. Deliver actionable guidance to important internal stakeholders, helping them understand nuances of the model output.

The AI & Frontier Model Scientist will spearhead our data science initiatives and drive innovations in data and AI. This role will work across departments to harness the power of big data and machine learning, ensuring that our software remains at the cutting edge. This position will report to the EVP, Technology.

You will play a critical role in understanding and optimizing the dynamics of the world’s largest work marketplace.
